In addition to the aforementioned information and activities, the PPGSS has gained public visibility because teachers and students establish contact with institutions, organizations and employers of Social Work, as well as Regional Councils of Social Assistance and other bodies of the category. In recent years, the external visibility of the PPGSS has been increasing at the national level, not only by articulating with other Research and Study Groups, for example, the projects developed with researchers linked to universities: UFMA, UECE, PUC-SP, UNESP-Franca, PUC-RS, but also for the development of Extension projects, such as:

 - Extension Program "Social Mapping of Traditional Peoples and Communities (MapSocial)" of Social Work (FASS), is linked to the Study Group, Territory and Resistance in Amazonia / GESTERRA-PPGSS-UFPA, integrates a network of researchers and movements social, peoples and traditional communities of the new Social Cartography of the Amazon Project - PNCSA, whose material is available at http://www.novacartografiasocial.com, which includes researchers from public universities in the Amazon region: State University Federal University of the State of Maranhão, Federal University of Maranhão, Federal University of Acre, Federal University of Roraima, Federal University of Rondônia, Federal University of Western Pará and Federal University of Amapá;

 - Extension Project "Social Work and the Practice of Counseling to Urban Social Movements in Belém: The Fronts of the Imprisoned of the Una and Tucunduba, the Association of Residents of the New Road Slope, the Belém Basin Defense Front and the Popular Committee Urban". As a continuity of the work developed in an articulated way between teaching-research-extension, this project aims to deepen the relationship between the University and the Unaffected Residents' Front of the Una Basin Macrodrenage (FMPBU), the Tucunduba Basin Impaired Front , the Association of Residents of the Orla Project, the Front in Defense of the Belém Basins (FBB) and the Popular Urban Committee (CPU), intending to strengthen the relationship with the leaders of this movement, in which the activities carried out were the place of the exchange knowledge, academic elaboration and production of materials capable of subsidizing the struggle for improvements in the living conditions of the population affected by the macrodrainage of the Una basin. The Urban Social Movements of Belém have sought, together with the UFPA Social Work course, through extension and research, to develop strategies to mobilize justice organs, articulate and integrate the existing political forces in districts subject to flooding and place of projects of urban intervention. Thus, the project has been developing actions to advise social movements, to train, train leaders and strengthen social mobilizations, so as to build spaces for integration and agglutination, seeking to strengthen the different political forces in their demands and interlocution processes with the state. In this way, this Project has contributed to the university extension to recover from society its political role and the educational process of engagement of students and teachers of Social Work at the service of the popular sectors, allowing the condensation of social forces in the articulation of concrete collective practices.

- Extension Project "Worker's health and social rights of victims of work accidents in the aluminum complex - Barcarena / Pará". In 2017, the project developed socio-educational activities on the social, labor and social security rights of workers victims of work accidents in the Aluminum Productive Chain, in the municipality of Barcarena-Pará, aiming at strengthening the political struggle for access to them and improving the living conditions of these workers. In addition, it developed actions that enabled the production of knowledge about the health policy of the worker / SUS, labor and social security rights to the target public of the project, strengthening the political struggle for the democratization of the information of these rights and the expansion of their access. In this way, the mentioned actions allowed the articulation between teaching-research and extension aiming to contribute to the technical-scientific training process of undergraduate and graduate students of the courses involved in the project, making possible the application of the knowledge acquired in the classroom. classroom and the development of skills and abilities necessary for their professional practice; to provide data that will support the elaboration of Course Conclusion, Dissertations, Scientific Papers and teaching material on worker health / rights, aiming at the formation of multidisciplinary agents for the evaluation of Social Policy actions that interface with the health of the Worker. Workers, representatives of trade union organizations, workers 'associations and members of the Inter-Sectoral Workers' Health Committee (CIST) were targeted. The methodology will be based on an interdisciplinary work through the exchange of experiences between the various areas of knowledge related to workers' health, labor and social security rights of victims of accidents at work, aiming at an intervention capable of responding to the demands of these workers and fostering their role. This project was financed by PROEXT / MEC / CNPQ / 2016 and counted on the partnership of the Account with the participation of 04 students of the course of Graduation in Social Work; 02 students of the Master's degree in Social Work-PPGSS / UFPA; 01 psychologist at Fundacentro - Pará and 01 professor at the Institute of Legal Sciences - UFPA, in addition to technical support from CEREST-Pará; Association of Claimants and Victims of Work Accidents / Barcarena and the Latin American Association of Labor Lawyers - ALAL. It is recorded that this project has as one of its main products the preparation of a Primer on social, labor and social security rights (in the Prelo), especially in the political, economic and social conjuncture of Brazil, which is increasingly tending to reduce the rights of the working class.

It is important to note that the university extension programs / projects offer scholarships for students in difficult socioeconomic situation, contributing to raise the quality of undergraduate courses, through the deepening of studies integrated to research and extension; besides stimulating specific actions that avoid the retention of students in the curricular path. In addition, the relationship between quota students (indigenous and quilombolas) in the Social Work College in the PPGSS has enabled an effective interlocution between university and more impoverished segments of Pará society.

In addition, the visibility of the PPGSS has also occurred through the following actions: adhesion to the Program of Alliances for Education and Training (PAEC) of the Organization of American States (OAS), offering vacancies for Master's courses and doctorate in Social Work; - Lectures and Conferences given by several professors of the Program (see item social insertion); - Presentation of works in local, regional and international congresses with publication in the Annals (see item intellectual production); participation of external researchers in Project Examination Banking and Defense of Master Dissertation in Social Work; - the research subjects of the Program's teachers, in general, focused on the particularities of the expressions of the "social question" in the Amazon Region, especially those involving quilombolas, indigenous and resident rivers in mining areas, environmental disasters, agrarian conflicts, etc.

The visibility of the Program also includes the participation of professors in the composition of the Working Groups of the Brazilian Association of Study and Research in Social Work (ABEPSS). In this year of 2018, Professor Vera Lúcia Batista Gomes was elected Vice President of ABEPSS in the North region composed of professionals from several Federal Public Universities, namely: UFAM, UFPI, UFT. In addition, the new coordination of Social Works Area in CAPES, includes one of the professors: Professor Joana Valente Santana. It is recorded that two students of the PPGSS Najara Mayla do Socorro Veiga Costa (Titular) and Ricardo Leão Ribeiro Wanzeller (Alternate) composed the student representation of the Northern Region as a Student Representation of Graduate in ABEPSS, in the management 2015-2016 and in the 2019-2020 management, the student Patricio.

Likewise, the participation of teachers of the PPGSS as reviewers of Scientific Journals in the Area of Social Work and related, as well as, of scientific events, for example: Public Policy Review / UFMA, Argumentum Magazine, Temporalis Magazine, Em Pauta Magazine , Katálysis Journal, Social Work & Society Magazine, Social Work in Magazine, Homa Journal; evaluation of papers for the 3rd International Social Policy Meeting and the 10th National Meeting of Social Policy - ENPS, 2015 and VII International Conference on Public Policies and II International Seminar on Socio-environmental Issues and Sustainability in the Amazon, and 3rd Meeting of Public Policies for Pan -Amazonia and the Caribbean- EPPAC, promoted by the Federal University of Amazonas. Also, it is considered important to register the participation of the teachers of the PPGSS / UFPA, in Academic and Postgraduate Programs in Postgraduate Programs internal and external to UFPA.

In the last four years, the professors participated in activities of this nature in the following Graduate Programs: Human Geography of USP; Graduate Program in Social Work / UFRJ; Post-Graduation Program in Social Work / PUCRGS; Post-Graduation Program in Social Work and Social Policy / UEL Post-Graduation Program in Social Work / PUCRS; Postgraduate Program in Social Sciences / UFPA; Postgraduate Program in Sociology and Anthropology of UFPA; Education Graduate Program of UFPA; Nursing Graduate Program at UFPA; Architecture and Urbanism Graduate Program/ UFPA, Theory and Research of Behavior Graduate Program / UFPA; Sustainable Development of the Humid Tropics Graduate Program / UFPA and; Psychology Graduate Program in / UFPA etc.

The Program maintains a link with the Pedagogical Project of the Social Work Course with one of its guiding principles, namely the "investigative and intervention dimension as founding elements of professional training, as the central axis of the relationship between theory and reality - in its individual and general aspects ", as well as contributing to the acquisition of skills and abilities by the students of the course, namely:" advice and support to social movements related to social policies in the exercise and defense of civil, political and social rights; elaboration, coordination and supervision of works and experiences of social education "with emphasis on the thematic area of peoples and traditional communities and environment / social and environmental conflicts.

Also on the insertion of the Program at regional / national level, through the organization of entities of the professional category of social workers, it is important to register the contribution of teachers to the Regional Council of Social Work - CRESS-1ª. Region, through the holding of important annual event lectures in the category such as the "Social Worker Week" held in May; of joint events. It should be emphasized that members of the doscete and student body are part of the work commissions of this entity, namely: Vocational training, Social Security among others.
